On the basis of article 29 in the General Agreement for Contract 2007 (hereafter: Agreement 2007), the representatives from the Ministry of Health, the Natural Health Resorts Association of Slovenia, and the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia, published the following text:

CLASSIFICATION OF HEALTH RESORTS ACCORDING TO ACTIVITY STANDARDS

Interpretation of list:

A – The health resort is qualified for the rehabilitation of all referred insured persons according to the stated standard type – PRIMARY ACTIVITY OF HEALTH RESORT.

B – The health resort does not provide accommodation of insured persons for intensive care, but is qualified for the rehabilitation of insured persons according to the stated standard type – SECONDARY ACTIVITY OF HEALTH RESORT.

For standard Type 6: the health resort is qualified for the rehabilitation of all insured persons according to the stated standard type, except for conditions following the complete removal of the womb, oviducts, and ovaries with complications and for endocrine disorders that are most successfully treated in health resorts.

standard type 1: inflamed rheumatic symptoms

standard type 2: degenerative, extra-articular rheumatism

standard type 3: conditions of the locomotor system with functional

                            disability following injuries and operations

standard type 4: neurological diseases, injuries and diseases of central and

                            peripheral nervous systems, including cerebrovascular

                            accidents (stroke) and neuromuscular diseases

standard type 5: diseases and conditions following operations on the

                            cardiovascular system

standard type 6: gynecological diseases, conditions following operations in

                            lower part of pelvic, on testicles, and breasts

standard type 7: skin diseases

standard type 8: gastroenteritic and endocrine diseases, conditions

                            following operations

standard type 9: respiratory illnesses.
