The Dobrna Thermal Spa is a contemporary and dynamic health resort and tourist center. Healing thermal springs known already to the Celts and Romans, a mild low-mountain climate, fango and moor-mud packs, first-class medical care, a top quality relaxation and wellness offer, professionalism and experience, socializing and entertainment, friendly staff - all these are factors that have long attracted guests from around the world.
As early as 1542, the thermal water at Dobrna was recognized as an ideal medium for treating gynecological and urinary system problems, rheumatic diseases, and illnesses and injuries of the locomotor system.

At the Dobrna Thermal Spa you can stay at three different hotels: Hotel Vita, Vila Higiea, and Hotel Park. Accommodation at the Hotel Vita includes full use of spa facilities and services. You can relax in the new Sauna land “Dežela savn” with its attractive offer of steam and finnish saunas and additional Kneipp baths program. The beauty centre “Hiša na travniku” (The House in the Meadow) offers special programs of beauty care for face and body. During your stay, you can get a preventive physical examination or advice from a doctor at the modern Medical Centre and take strolls around the more than 200-year old park that will fill you with positive energy. In the evenings you can enjoy live music in the coffee room in the Hotel Vita or relax in the wine cellar under Vila Higiea.

In the field of medicine, the Dobrna Thermal Spa has upgraded its gynecological program with an emphasis on treating infertility and increasing fertility and is recognized for its preventive and curative services for treating urological and other internal medical problems and the development of its own line of “home pharmacy” products (teas, creams, tinctures, compresses, lotions). Our wellness programs offer treatments that employ natural materials and natural approaches and methods. Since Dobrna is a place where peaceful surroundings, a beneficial climate, and the pleasant scents of nature intertwine, we are able to include various spiritual techniques and techniques of relaxation in our offer.

In future, the Dobrna Thermal Spa intends to increase the number of hotel beds available by converting the old spa house “Zdraviliški dom” into a four-star hotel that will join the select group of hotels protected as part of the cultural and natural heritage of Slovenia.
